This is a practical workshop which will teach participants how to create and use Social Stories™ and Comic Strip Conversations™ to support pupils who experience social difficulties/misunderstandings.
Description:
Social Stories™ and Comic Strip Conversations™ are both visual strategies which can be used to help pupils with autism gain insight into a social situation or event which is known to be difficult for them to manage.
Outcome:
Staff attending this training will learn how to create social stories™ and comic strip conversations™ for pupils who require very specific information about what to do in particular social settings/situations.
