This is a workshop session which will provide information and guidance on The new Pupil Register system on the EY Provider Hub for establishing eligibility and validating codes for 2YO’s, 30hrs & EYPP to enable settings to deliver a high quality Early Years provision. It will also provide opportunities for professionals to pick up best practice business processes from across EY sectors.

• Aspects that should be considered in a risk assessment
• Relevant control strategies to minimise risks

• How to undertake a risk assessment in their workplace

If you work with children in a paid or unpaid capacity and work on behalf of a community, faith or sports organization, you must undertake regular safeguarding training.
This session will help you:
• know how to recognise and report concerns regarding children and young people
• know how to report concerns about other adults working with children

• dangers associated with hazardous substances
• legislation surrounding COSHH
• risk reduction measures
