Outline:

Safeguarding training for all staff in schools. Covers the foundations of what safeguarding / child protection means, procedures in school, legislative framework, local response. An easy way for schools to ensure that new staff are trained throughout the school year

Description:

• To ensure that all staff are able to identify concerns and respond appropriately.
• To ensure that children in schools and settings are safe and can access consistent support and protection, wherever they are in the borough.

Outcome:

• To ensure that all staff are aware of their safeguarding role and responsibilities.
• To ensure that all staff are aware of signs of concern, and know how to respond to them.
