A Termly Forum for Early Years Professionals with lead/key responsibility for meeting the SEND code of practice requirements and supporting children with developmental delay/SEND
Description:
Termly Information sharing and networking forum for Early Years Foundation Stage professionals from Schools and PVI settings with lead/key responsibility for meeting the SEND code of practice requirements and supporting children with developmental delay/SEND.
This forum will provide attendees with up to date information on :
• National changes with regards to SEND
• Information, advice and training available to EYFS professionals to support children with developmental delay/SEND
• Funding that can be used to support children with developmental delay/SEND and how to claim it
• Information, advice and support available to children and their families
The forum will also provide an opportunity to:
• Network and share best practice with peers/colleagues
Provide views/feedback that will shape and influence SEND provision in the Borough
Outcome:
Attendees will be have up to date knowledge on:
• National changes with regards to SEND
• Information, advice and training available to EYFS professionals to support children with developmental delay/SEND
• Funding that can be used to support children with developmental delay/SEND and how to claim it
• Information, advice and support available to children and their families
And will have:
• Networked and development peer support groups to share best practice with
• Informed and influenced the shape of SEND provision in the Borough

This course is suitable for Early Years Foundation Stage professionals from Schools and PVI settings with lead/key responsibility for meeting the SEND code of practice requirements and supporting children with developmental delay/SEND e.g. Senco’s in Schools or PVI settings, EYFS leads in schools & Managers in PVI’s, Keyworkers for children with SEND and Schools with EYFS provision and Ofsted registered PVI sector providers on the Early Years Register
