The proposed agenda for the conference will provide a range of information through presentations and workshop sessions on:
• The Early Years Single Funding Formula and hourly payment rates 2019-2020
• the numbers and models of take up of free early education places
• the new 2019-20 FEEE Financial Guidance
• Using the on line Early Years Pupil Register to ensure you receive all your funding
• Business Planning & Maximising Income in your setting
• The importance of having robust policies and procedures in place and procedure writing

Description:

The Early Years Business Conference 2019 will be held on Friday 10th May 2019 at Gilwell Park,Chingford. The conference is a full day event from 9.30am – 4.00pm, and lunch will be provided. This conference will be significantly subsidised by the LA, but will require a contribution of £30 per delegate towards venue and lunch costs. The contribution represents excellent value for money and the income generated by the setting as a result of attending should significantly outweigh the cost of attendance, particularly as one of the elements of the conference this year support around claiming funding via the online early years pupil system.

This full day conference will provide information, guidance and forward planning opportunities on the business aspects required to deliver a high quality Early Years provision. It will also provide opportunities for professionals to pick up best practice business processes from across sectors.

Outcome:

The conference will provide attendees with up to date knowledge and support in delivering quality early years provision. Delegates will also have opportunity to network and share ideas with other Early Years Practitioners.

Booking information:

Maximum of 2delegates per setting

Each delegate will be able to attend a maximum of 2 chosen workshops. We will recommend that where possible 2 delegates from each setting attend the conference to ensure that settings benefit from attending all the workshops.
