Supporting schools in the borough in dealing with Personal Data Breaches in line with ICO guidelines pertaining to the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
Description:
Gain a sound understanding of how to detect and deal with a Data Breach
Gain clarity on the Data Breach Procedure workflow in line with the ICO guidelines
Understanding the risks around data breaches and mitigating those risks
Identifying when a Data Breach needs to be reported to the ICO and subsequent process / follow up actions
Outcome:
Schools will be able to learn to manage data breaches effectively by applying methods to contain and reduce risks where appropriate
