Outline:

Suitable for professionals from all agencies, as all agencies should have a nominated person to lead on Private Fostering (Private Fostering Champions). This includes all designated safeguarding leads in all agencies.

Three sessions are available, so please only attend one:

Tuesday 13th September 2016
- First Session 8:30am – 10:30am
- Second Session 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Tuesday 27th September 2016
- Only Session 4:00pm – 6:00pm

Description:

All champions/nominated persons to have good awareness of the issue of private fostering so they will then be able to raise awareness within their own agency.

Multi-agency core group B, C (health level 2-3).

Attendance counts towards HCPC post-registration and continuous professional development.

Outcome:

As a partnership in Waltham Forest we work effectively together to increase the numbers of notifications of private fostering arrangements.
