Outline:

This training session is part of the Early Years Teaching and Learning Training Framework and Prospects Services Ltd will be leading the session on how to support practitioners to identify groups of children who attend their setting and explore effective ways of tracking individual children’s and groups of children’s progress

Description:

The course will:
Provide practitioners with the opportunity to evaluate progress of groups of children, compile a progress summary and write an action plan to improve outcomes.
Explore practical ways in which additional funding could be used to improve outcomes.
Support practitioners to develop a case study that shows how data and additional funding was used to improve outcomes.
Develop practitioners’ understanding of “school readiness” and explore practical examples of how this can be promoted through an enabling environment.

Outcome:

Practitioners will be able to identify groups of children who attend their setting and explore effective ways of tracking individual children’s and groups of children’s progress

Audience:

Priority will be given to Early Years Practitioners from Schools and PVIs, however, Childminders are also welcome to apply
