Team around the Family
A team around the family meeting (TAF) brings together children, young people, parents and practitioners and its function is to ensure families have an equal role in agreeing goals and actions that reflect identified need. A TAF allows information to be shared and ensures services are coordinated and reviewed.
This short course will give practitioners an opportunity to look at the planning and structuring of a TAF meeting and build and develop the skills needed to chair TAF meetings.
By the end of the day delegates will:
• Gain an understanding of the format of a TAF meeting
• Have an opportunity to practise chairing a TAF meeting
• Feel more confident working within the process of a TAF
