Outline:

• Understand what executive functions are (including working memory)
• Understand why they are important
• Connect executive function skills with learning behaviours
• Learn strategies for helping children and young people develop and improve their executive functions

Description:

An exploration of executive functions and how they impact on the way students approach and complete a wide range of tasks in school.

Outcome:

Basic understanding, confidence and ideas as to how we can better support student’s executive functioning skills.
