Outline:

This course is designed to give delegates an insight into the sense that we have what processing differences children with autism may face and how we can make small "reasonable" adjustments to support processing and learning.

Description:

It is important to understand what sensory processing is and how it can have a direct effect on behaviour and learning.

Outcome:

This session will give delegates practical knowledge and some basic tools so that they are able to recognise basic signs and make adjustments.

Audience:

This course is suitable for professionals (SENCos, Teachers, TAs) working with pupils with challenging behaviour in primary or secondary schools (mainstream or special setting).
