Outline:

This training session is part of the Early Years Teaching and Learning Training Framework and Prospects Services Ltd will be leading the session on how to develop an understanding of what peer on peer observation is and how it can be used to improve the quality of provision and outcomes for children.

Description:

The course will:

  • Support practitioners in how to implement peer on peer observations.
  • Provide practitioners with the opportunity to practice carrying out a peer on peer observation, identify challenges and solutions to giving difficult feedback and developing a “code of conduct” for use in their settings.

Outcome:

Practitioners will develop an understanding of what peer on peer observation is and how it can be used to improve the quality of provision and outcomes for children.

Priority will be given to Early Years Practitioners from Schools and PVIs, however, Childminders are also welcome to apply
