Outline:

There will be a focus on Mac-based software, Logic Pro and Garage Band, although it will be beneficial to any colleagues delivering music production courses.

Description:

The session will be tailored as closely as possible to the needs of the teachers. Content will focus on mixdown skills - use of compression, EQ and effects as required by BTEC and GCSE specification; as well as developing resources to support students in understanding and executing these skills in their coursework.

The session will be led by BTEC and GCSE music production expert Danny Fisher in partnership with Waltham Forest Music Service.

Outcome:

Learning new mixdown skills and well as developing resources to support students.

Secondary music teachers.
