Outline:

This training session is part of the Statutory Assessment and Deb Whittle who has over 35 years’ experience in the education industry and is Key Stage 1 and 2 moderation manager for statutory assessment will be leading the session which is aimed at year 6 teachers who are familiar with the end of Key Stage 2 statutory assessments.

Description:

This half day course is for Y6 teachers who are familiar with the end of Key Stage 2 statutory assessments. The course aims to provide a summary of the changes 2017/18 and information on those aspects that remain the same. Teachers will be given guidance on the management and delivery of teacher assessments and tests. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and to engage in meaningful discussions.

Delegates are required to print the attached documents and bring along to the training.
1) Teacher assessment frameworks at the end of Key Stage 2
2) Interim pre-key stage 2: pupils working below the test standard

Audience:

This half-day course is not suitable for teachers who have not taught Year 6 before or for NQTs. Please book the full day course on 9th January 2018 for these teachers.
