Outline:

This training session is part of the Statutory Assessment and Deb Whittle who has over 35 years’ experience in the education industry and is Key Stage 1 and 2 moderation manager for statutory assessment will be leading the session which is aimed at new and returning year 2 teachers.

Description:

This full day course is for Year 2 teachers who are new or returning to Year 2. The course aims to provide information for teachers who are unfamiliar with and who have not previously administered the end of Key Stage 1 statutory assessments. Participants will have the opportunity to look at assessment materials, teaching and learning strategies, ask questions and to engage in meaningful discussions. There will also be the opportunity to engage in some moderating activities.

Booking information:

Delegates are required to print the attached documents and bring along to the training.
1) Teacher assessment frameworks at the end of Key Stage 1
2) Interim pre-key stage 1: pupils working below the test standard
3.) Test papers for KS1 2017 for maths, reading and GPS. (If GPS is available)

Refreshments:
We will provide refreshments for the session (tea, coffee & biscuits)
Lunch will NOT be provided.
