This free information session will cover;
• The role of a childminder
• The legal requirements of being a childminder
• Ofsted and registering with them
• Support on offer from the Local authority
Description:
By attending the workshop attendees will have a robust understanding of the role of a childminder and be able to decide if it’s the right one for them. They will understand the role of Ofsted and how to register with them. They will gain an understanding of the support on offer from the local authority through the registration process and once they are caring for children.
Outcome:
Practitioners will be well informed about childminding.
