Outline:

This training session is part of the Early Years Teaching and Learning Training Framework and The Lloyd Park Centre will be leading the session on how to support children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS in an outdoor environment

Description:

Course aims:
To explore practitioners' understanding of risks and hazards and unpick any unhelpful barriers and constraints about outdoor risk-taking play.
Course Delivery:
Introductions will take place in a training room, followed by direct experience of working with children and families in an outdoor playspace, followed by group and individual reflection within a classroom.

Outcome:

Practitioners will feel confident in supporting children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS in an outdoor environment

Audience:

Priority will be given to Early Years Practitioners from Schools and PVIs, however, Childminders are also welcome to apply
