Outline:

The Windrush exhibition is titled ‘We Are Here’ and will run from 12 February - 1 November 2020, it will comprise principally of modern portrait photographs of Windrush residents currently living in the borough, shown alongside historic images from their personal archives. There will also be some archival material in the exhibition such as arrivals cards and passports which can be scanned and made available for teachers and educators, they can also make use of the modern and historic photographs.

Description:

Image17, the photography group who are collecting the materials and taking the new photograph, are very keen to engage people with the project and are already working with some students from Leyton Sixth Form College on the photoshoots.
