Supporting schools in the borough in complying with the legal requirement under the GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 to carry out DPIAs.
Description:
Learn to assess and determine when a DPIA is mandatory
Conduct DPIAs and consider operational mechanisms to support DPIAs by Design and Default
Understand privacy risks and strategies for mitigating / minimising those risks
Understand the role of your DPO and DPIAs
Outcome:
Attendees will be able conduct assessments to determine when a DPIA is necessary. The attendees will learn how to complete DPIAs in accordance with legal requirements and apply key methods of risk mitigation and minimisation.
