Join event producer Gareth Hughes and artist Mandy Dike (of And Now:) to plan how your students can be involved in this mass participation event for London Borough of Culture 2019. We will demonstrate and present a range of different activities and resources which you can use to involve your students with the forthcoming May Day Fayre event on 4th May.
Description:
Take part in a taster session for event master classes which will provide ideas, materials, techniques and methods for the making of some of the creative elements of the May Day Fayre; find out how you can create study topics around the themes of Citizenship, campaigning for the environment and local history; and visit a ‘market place’ of learning resources and education providers linked to the environment in the Borough.
Network and enjoy a drink overlooking Chingford Plain.
