• Introductions: What kind of setting are you from?
• What is ‘Cultural Capital’?
• What does this mean for an Early Years setting?
• Learning Walk: what evidence can we see for Church Hill Nursery Schools’ school development plan of the implementation of the Cultural Capital intent?
• Group planning work: How can we plan local trips to extend the experiences of all our children
• Impact: What will you expect to see change in your team? What changes might you need to make? What might be the obstacles?
• Use the intent, implementation and impact model to plan effective change

Description:

Cultural Capital: a phrase now hot on the lips of every early years setting. How can you develop your practice off site and extend learning afterwards creatively, to extend the experiences of all children in your setting?

Aimed at managers and senior practitioners to engage their team in innovative planning, this half day course at Church Hill Nursery School will help you to plan the intent, implementation and impact of your extended curriculum.

Outcome:

Managers and senior practitioners will have the confidence to engage their team in innovative planning, using the intent, implementation and impact model for the development of cultural capital.
