Our advice is grounded in the local educational and political context and we will advise and support on all HR matters and represent you at hearings where possible. We will provide a named HR consultant whom will provide your school with specialist employee relation support.

Human Resources support head teachers and governors to make the most of the commitment, skills and capabilities of all the people working for the school. Our main objectives are to provide consistent advice on new and changing policies, procedures and initiatives and to monitor, assess and advise on the implications of UK and EU employment legislation. We will ensure that your school meets legal obligations and that all managers and staff receive current information and advice. We will provide briefings and training for head teachers and governors on HR matters as appropriate. We work collaboratively with both trade unions and professional associations, representing staff in schools, including negotiations and consultations on terms and conditions of employment.
