Using the Pupil Register
Using the Pupil Register to Validate Codes and Track Children's Progress
The EYP Hub is a multi-functional portal where providers can manage information about children attending their setting. The Pupil Register area of the EYP Hub securely stores information about children attending the setting.
For children who started AFTER the January 2018 census, providers will need to enter children's information in the Pupil Register.
Information for children who began BEFORE the January 2018 census and are accessing FEEE places, will be uploaded by the Early Years & Childcare team. Once this is done, providers will need to enter National Insurance numbers for the parents.
This will then allow for full functionality for providers to validate and re-validate codes.
Validating and Re-validating Codes
Providers will need to populate the Pupil Register in order to validate and re-validate codes and therefore receive payment for delivering FEEE places to:
- 2 year olds
- 15 Hours universal entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
- 30 Hours extended entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
- EYPP
The https://www.walthamforest.gov.uk/eychecker has replaced the previous My Early Learning website used for checking eligibility for 2 year old FEEE.
Advantages of using the Pupil Register
-
The Pupil Register gives an overview of all the funded children you are claiming for and which programme each child is funded for (2 year old funding, 3&4 Year Old Universal 15 hours Free Childcare, 30 Hours Free Childcare, EYPP).
-
You don't need to add parent data to the system every 3 months when re-validating the 30 hours FEEE codes. The system stores the parent details which saves you time and effort.
-
The system stores the 30 hour code Validity Start Date, Validity End Date and Grace Period End Date information.
-
It's easy to monitor when a Validity End Date of a 30 hours FEEE code has passed.
-
You can easily re-validate 30 hours FEEE codes with just one click!
- Check the eligibility for EYPP with just one click!
