SENCo Forum (whole day conference)
Date
Fri, 07 Jul 2017 09:00 - 16:00
Description
The theme for this year is about professionals working together to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people with SEN.
Tim Nicholls from the National Autistic Society will be speaking about "The School Report" and how the Code of Practice has worked (or not) for pupils and families with autism so far and also to consider next steps. Also, Pat Bullen, (who was a Pathfinder, when LAs were preparing to launch the CoP) will be sharing current practice from other LAs across the country.
There will be a range of workshops led by professionals across the LA to focus on how everyone can work in partnership towards a common, consistent and purposeful EHCP referral system.
