Outline
Children under the age of five years are more at risk from an accident in the home than anywhere else. Many of these accidents are preventable. Developed specifically to address this issue, our course focuses on the most common types of home accidents.
Falls, burns, scalds, poisoning and fire are the biggest cause of serious and fatal injuries in the home. This course will show effective measures, both behavioural and environmental, to reduce the risk of injury from these accidents.
Outcome
Audience
All those involved with families and their children, from community groups and health professionals to statutory organisations.
