Guidance for Schools & Colleges

This page provides a brief introduction to the senior leadership and key personnel involved in the delivery of the Virtual School's service. 

Val Naylor - Headteacher

Moira Fell - SEN Lead

Moira has been part of the Virtual School since 2003, although she first became involved with the education of LAC in 1997 when she taught for a time in a children’s home. Prior to that she taught at different LBWF primary and secondary schools for some seventeen years, always in the special needs field.  She was a junior school SENCO for six years and was also part of the SEN Support Service.    

Hannah Anderson - Advisory Teacher

Hannah has recently joined the Virtual School team as an Advisory teacher to work on PEP development. She is a qualified teacher who has worked in mainstream and Pupil Referral Units.

Mark Mason - Currently on secondment to the SEN team.

Stephanie Ojinta - Data and Scrutiny Officer

Stephanie joined the Virtual School recently.  Her main focus will be management of performance data and projects. Stephanie will be taking the lead on the organisation of tuition for LAC.  

Saima Syed - Senior Education Welfare Officer/LAC EWO

Saima has over ten years’ experience working within education. Saima has worked for Ofsted and the Department for Education as a policy advisor and is also a qualified teacher. Saima has experience of managing/supervising team members as well as: working as a project manager, writing reports, data management and presenting cases for prosecution in court. Saima currently works one day a week with the Virtual School team.
