Primary

  • A clear, wide offer in Primary Schools, that goes beyond educational attainment
  • Improved attainment across the board and equity in performance across the borough to ensure above average achievement by age 11
  • Good schools are helped to move towards outstanding
  • School sites are sustainable and clear plans are in place to meet increased demand for places
  • All schools benefit from inspirational leadership and collaboration between schools is the norm
  • All children with additional needs benefit from a quality mainstream offer
  • Pupils leave primary school ready for secondary education
  • Children are resilient and benefit from a high level of wellbeing

Secondary

  • Improved KS4 attainment across the board and equity in performance across the borough
  • The positive impact of the pupil premium is maximised, so that every eligible child sees a benefit
  • A successful secondary sector, building on the success of primary schools
  • Secondary sector is financially sustainable and secure, and the first choice for local parents

Post-16

  • Improved outcomes for young people accessing further education, training and employment
